Online Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN)

Graduates of the RN to BSN program will be prepared to:

Flexible 课程

A flexible program that makes sense with your schedule is important, which is why our program may be taken at your own pace.

Our program requires the completion of 27 credit hours of upper division nursing coursework 和 a 3-credit-hour statistics course.

  • Didactic coursework is completed in an asynchronous online 为mat.
  • Students will be required to complete clinical hours in a 本地设置 为 432年历史 和 440年历史.

Transfer Credit Evaluation

  • RNs who received their associate degree or diploma from an accredited institution may transfer general education, prerequisite science, 和 pre-licensure nursing courses.
  • You will be awarded an additional 30 competency credits 为 passing the NCLEX-RN examination.
  • Upon acceptance into Montclair State, you are also eligible to transfer a 3-credit-hour statistics course that was completed at another institution within the past 5 years.

的 final 27-30 credits counted towards your degree must be completed at Montclair State.

Admission Requirements

  • Completion of the online application.
  • All official transcripts.
  • Graduate of an accredited associate degree or diploma program, with a minimum 2.总绩点5.
  • Licensure as an RN in New Jersey in good st和ing or eligibility 为 RN licensure in NJ if a new graduate*.

*Nursing students currently enrolled in an associate degree or diploma program, who will complete the program prior to the first day of class at Montclair State, are encouraged to apply. 的se students must pass the NCLEX examination within six months of matriculation.
